Dr. Richard Kabiito is an accomplished artist and educator who specializes in working with natural materials in mixed-media applications. He investigates histories of local art experiences as content for his artistic research, exploring cultural artifacts and their connections to local geohistorical narratives. With a background in New Media pedagogies and recent forays into AI applications, Dr. Kabiito holds a Ph.D. from Aalto University in Finland, as well as a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Makerere University in Uganda.
