Event Parking

The College of Arts and Architecture hosts hundreds of lectures, recitals, exhibits, and events each year, and yes, parking on campus is easy!

We don’t want you to miss out on a performance or event because of transportation concerns. Whether you are driving on your own or using mass transit, we’ve got you covered.

Driving – On Campus

If you are driving on your own, you can easily access our Arts District facilities from the Eisenhower Parking Deck, East Parking Deck, and Nittany Parking Deck.

Parking in the Eisenhower deck is free for events sponsored by the Center for the Performing Arts (shuttle transportation provided from the Eisenhower deck for CPA events in Schwab Auditorium).

For other events, parking is $1 hour, or free after 4 p.m. for vehicles displaying a Penn State parking permit.

Driving – Downtown

If you are attending an event at the Downtown Theatre, nearby parking is available in the Beaver Avenue lot and Fraser Street garage.

Mass Transit

The CATABUS Loop and Link buses have stops along Curtin Road, providing easy access to the Arts District. The Loop and Link are free.

In addition, the no-fare Campus Shuttle offers daytime service on weekdays, also with several stops in or near the Arts District.
