School of Music Student Performs at Fiesta Bowl

Junior voice major Sean Toso sang the National Anthem at the Fiesta Bowl on December 30, 2017, prior to the football game between the Penn State Nittany Lions and the University of Washington Huskies. He was joined by University of Washington soprano Krissy Terwilliger, a featured twirler with the University of Washington's marching band.

A student in the studio of voice professor Norman Spivey, Sean is from State College, the son of Dale and Blaire Toso. He is a member of the Concert Choir and Essence of Joy, and intends to pursue an advanced degree in music upon graduation. Sean is the 2016 recipient of the School of Music's Eleanor Beene Award as well as the Margot Bos Vocal Award.
