Penn State Viola Ensemble Releases CD

The Penn State Viola Ensemble has released a CD available on CDbaby. "Hail Cremonus!: Music for Multiple Violas by Scott Slapin," includes 10 tracks including the five-movement work "Hail Cremonus!." Penn State viola professor Timothy Deighton can be heard in the second movement of Slapin's "Sonatina."† Music for the CD was recorded in April and October, 2017, with Jonathan Dexter serving as recording engineer.†
