Art History Ph.D. candidate Janet Purdy named Fulbright finalist for 2018-19
Janet Purdy, PhD Candidate in Art History, named as Fulbright finalist for 2018-19!
She was one of 1900 U.S. citizens selected this year to conduct research, study and teach abroad through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. She will spend the academic year in Tanzania conducting research in support of her dissertation on the Swahili Coast and Indian Ocean culture and trade systems in East Africa.
