Homecoming Weekend Halftime Show Designed by Doctoral Student in Music Ed, Michquelena Potlunas Ferguson

October 4–6, 2019, is Homecoming weekend at Penn State. The halftime show is dedicated to celebrating 120 years of Penn State's Blue Band, and it was designed by Michquelena Potlunas Ferguson, a Ph.D. Candidate in Music Education, and a Penn State Alum (?07, B.S. Music Education)!

The show will feature songs from throughout the ages, and as a traditional component of the Penn State†Homecoming festivities, in addition to the Blue Band, the Penn State Alumni Blue Band will also be featured on the field at pregame and halftime. At the conclusion, a combined performance with all Blue Band members, both past and present, will be presented.

The Penn State and Alumni Blue Bands will both perform as part of the Homecoming parade on Friday evening as well.
