Evan Pugh Professor of Art History Anthony Cutler gives paper at Archaeological Institute of America meeting
Anthony Cutler, Evan Pugh University Professor in Art History gave a paper, titled “On the Transfer of Knowledge in Ivories of the Medieval Mediterranean”, at the Archaeological Institute of America meeting in San Diego on Jan. 6, 2019.
His paper focused on how carving techniques and subject matter moved across the Mediterranean.
