Penn State’s School of Theatre production of American Idiot, the musical inspired by Green Day’s seventh album of the same name, at the Playhouse Theatre.

The Playhouse Theatre is a 383-seat proscenium-thrust theatre equipped with a dual level, moveable pit, full fly space, and advanced lighting and sound control systems. The Playhouse is located at the center of the Theatre Building and is surrounded by offices, classrooms, rehearsal studios, and dressing rooms, making it the center of much activity.

Whether it's a performance premiere, or planning and practice, to stage setup and lighting run-throughs, the Playhouse is always host to a flurry of activity.
