Biography

André Chaszar joined the Department of Architecture faculty in the Stuckeman School in July 2022 as a part-time lecturer. His work interweaves practice, teaching, and research in architecture, engineering, construction, urbanism, and informatics, with particular emphasis on the collaborative potential of these areas.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Penn State and a M.S. in Architecture from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Chaszar’s recent projects include emergency/disaster relief facilities planning and production tools and methods; generative design data visualization; collection, analysis, and visualization of multi-modal urban data for planning and design; and visual analytics for epidemic-related data.
