














Virtual /Material: Color/ Workshop
The Virtual/Material: Color/Pigment workshop took place the week of August 9, bringing together an international group of art history PhD students for a series of seminars, demonstrations, and hands-on labs conducted by a distinguished faculty led by Sarah K. Rich. Funded by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, the virtual workshop analyzed colorants using technical and historical methods while also exploring the behavior of color when represented as data.
