On Sunday, Sept. 6 the School of Music will present virtually its annual Penn State Trombone Labor Days event, which showcases the Penn State Trombone Studio. Led by School of Music professor Mark Lusk, the pre-recorded event will be broadcast on psutrombone.com at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and will feature Anthony Leach and Kathy Gattuso Cinatl on piano; Joshua Davis on bass; Marko Marcinko on drums and special guest vocalist, Kaitlyn Reddington. Each session will be 30 minutes and will offer inspirational songs from the classical, gospel, and Broadway traditions. 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the event and Lusks’s 66th trombone recital.
