Palmer Museum welcomes membership and development associate Amber Krieg
This month, after a national search, the Palmer Museum of Art welcomed Amber Krieg into the new role of associate director of museum membership and donor relations. Krieg began her duties on Sept. 17.
At the Palmer, Krieg’s main objective will be to grow and expand the museum’s membership program, which is known as the Friends of the Palmer Museum of Art. She will cultivate, organize and manage membership and member events, including the annual gala, as well as work closely with existing donors and constituents. Her appointment comes at a vital time, as the University and museum refocus their strategic mission on strengthening and expanding the arts at Penn State, and positioning the Palmer as a vital resource for faculty, staff and students, as well as in the broader community and region.
