Kyle Jensen (he/him/his) is the Sound Supervisor for the School of Theater and Penn State Centre Stage, as well as a professional freelance sound designer. Selected design credits: Off-Broadway – “Relapse: A New Musical” (Theatre Row), Regional – “Xanadu” (Cortland Repertory), “RENT” (Hamilton College), “Metamorphoses” (Penn State Centre Stage), “Ragtime” (SSTI), and “Cake Ladies” (Dallas Theater Center).
Other appointments include GEVA Theatre Center, Two River Theater Company, Dallas Theater Center, Baltimore Center Stage, Teatro Vista, and American University.
His designs have been nominated for multiple awards, and he won BroadwayWorld’s award for Best Sound Design of a Musical in 2022.
He is a member of the executive board of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA), as well as the Association of Sound Designers (ASD), and IATSE Local USA829.
