The Pitch Exploration Lab engages undergraduate and graduate students from colleges across the University Park campus in research related to singing accuracy and arts participation. Our goal is to better understand the processes in music perception and production, with outcomes related to pedagogy and participation policy. The lab is an interdisciplinary hub for students and faculty in biology/pre-med, statistics, psychology, acoustics, and other fields to gain research skills, writing skills, and data collection experience.
