Rebecca Maciejczyk

Biography

Rebecca brings over 15 years of teaching dance to Penn State. She formerly served as
Artistic Director of Nittany Ballet, part of the Performing Arts School of Central
Pennsylvania (PASCP), where she remains on faculty.

In addition to her primary training with the renowned Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet
(CPYB) under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary, she studied with Washington School
of Ballet and Delaware Dance Co.

Local theater credits include Penn State Centre Stage (Associate Choreographer,
Brigadoon), Penn State Dance Concert, (Choreographer, Moving Forward), and State
College Community Theatre (Hello, Dolly! and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown).
Additional choreography collaborations with Penn State School of Music: Wind
Ensemble (Leonard Bernstein’s “Profanation”), Oriana Singers (Vincent Persichetti’s
“Winter Cantata”), Faculty Performance (Arnold Schoenberg’s “Pierrot Lunaire”)

Rebecca holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science from Penn State.
