A weekend house emerging from the transformation of a grounded cube into two interlocking rectangular volumes above. The design explores the tension between ecological strategies and the plan’s paradoxical dialogue with form. Open to the landscape in all directions, the interior unfolds to its maximum, embracing light, view, and continuity, while maintaining a quiet balance between structure and openness.

Area: 226000 sqft

tSarv, located in a dense urban environment in Tehran, serves the administration of employees’ retirement funds for a bank. It provides seven floors of sub-terranean parking, ground floor commercial and six floors of administrative offices. The building is organized with a point-grid structural system and operates with a single vertical core connecting all floors. At each adminis-trative floor, the core “reaches out” into the floors with free-form “arms” that contain all services and private spaces.

Interstice

A multi-family residence conceived for two generations living together yet apart. The design preserves existing trees while framing views of the mountains, river, and nearby dam. Cylindrical structural cores support the floors and contain vertical circulation, enabling the rotation of units to create distinct green terraces. At the highest level, a shared swimming pool and gym foster communal life within the landscape.

It also explores passive design strategies, local knowledge, and future-forward within the context of the project.

An interior design project for the stair entrance of an information technology company. The concept was to translate the identity of a digital technology company into architectural form. The design employs perforated, back-lit stainless steel panels whose patterns are derived from blue electric circuit imagery. Programmatically, the staircase is a threshold into the company, but it is also literally an immersive digital corridor: light and pattern combine to evoke the logic and flow of information systems. Structurally, the project is composed of a layered assembly—supporting framework, concealed lighting, perforated panels, and precise alignment—transforming a utilitarian stair into a luminous, dynamic passage.
