During his five years in Rafael Vinoly’s New York office, Washesky was the project manager during the construction phase of the Brooklyn Children’s Museum and a team member for the Abu Dabi master plan for New York University.

For more than 10 years, Washesky designed, detailed, and followed through construction of K-12 school projects including: a new elementary school in Spencerport, New York; a new high school in Bordentown, New Jersey; and the expansion of the Harrisville, New York PK-12 facility.

He received his B.S. in Architecture from Penn State and his M.Arch. from Columbia University. He also studied at the Architectural Association in London.

Washesky sketches every day and is currently working on portraits of notable people in architecture and the art world. The drawings are an attempt to exist in the realm between portraiture and caricature.
