Biography
Timothy Johnson's work in developing the use of pen-based computing for digital sketching and rendering has received a positive response from both students and professionals. This seems to be an application of technology that designers are eager to embrace and learn about. Penn State continues to lead the way in developing the use of this technology in design and visualization. Johnson keeps active in developing presentations, workshops, continuing education sessions, and web-based instruction in both the academic and private practice arenas. He regularly publishes articles for Landscape Architecture Magazine on a variety of digital technology issues.
