Biography

Dominic serves as the Stage Lighting Supervisor while also serving on the sound faculty. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Theatre as well as an International Engineering Certificate. His current areas of research and development include theatrical systems integration and [computer] networking for the live entertainment industry. Before joining the School of Theatre, Dominic served as a Systems Engineer with Penn State’s Center for the Performing Arts. He serves as a Lighting Designer for the Penn State Dance Marathon, as he has since 2016. At the 2019 Penn State Drawdown Conference, he served as the Sound Designer and Arranger for "The World I Want to See,” a new work combining the arts and sciences. Dominic continues to serve as the Lighting Designer for Penn State’s School of Music Mosaic concert as he has since 2015. In addition, Dominic is a Journeyman within IATSE and maintains several American Red Cross instructor certifications pertaining to Health and Safety.
