The Stuckeman School is hosting the Young Jerks, a Brooklyn-based design firm, for an exhibition titled “The Young Jerks Mega Mini Mart.”

The Young Jerks are a brand and packaging studio led by partners Dan Cassaro and Dan Christofferson. The studio designs commercial art for spirits, sodas, snacks, toys, and their own games company, Weastcoast games. Referencing historic graphic design sources, the team modernizes this work with custom art, typography, and a strategic cultural intuition that has helped hundreds of clients build successful brands.

Celebrating 10 years of commercial graphics, the Young Jerks bring rich, illustrative storytelling to modern packaging and branding. The exhibition will feature the studio’s favorite games, toys, drinks, snacks, and more. Focusing on joyful packaged goods, they impart a bit of warmth and playfulness in everything they do.

The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will run through Oct. 31.

Christofferson will return to campus to present a lecture at 4 p.m. on Sept. 16 in the Stuckeman Family Building Jury Space.
