Of Heart and Song presents three Penn State Faculty dawn pierce, mezzo-soprano; George Carpten IV, trumpet; and Melody Quah, piano in a captivating trio presenting two world premieres of song cycles: The Last Light (Four Poems of Edward Thomas) by Jodi Goble, three newly-arranged spirituals by Khyle B. Wooten alongside "...to cast a shadow again" by renowned composer Eric Ewazen, featuring evocative poetry by Katherine Gekker.
