Description: “Collective Journey” showcases new commissions for horn and piano by Gina Gillie, Susan Mutter, and Tara Islas. These pieces take the performer and the listener on a collective journey through shared experiences, using folk songs, nostalgia, and common human emotions of despair, strength, uncertainty, and hope.
