Eugene Ofori Agyei is a Ghanaian-born artist and educator based in the United States whose interdisciplinary practice explores themes of migration, identity, cultural hybridity, and the concept of home through ceramics, textiles, wood, found materials and performance. Agyei’s work, exhibited in group and solo shows across the U.S. and internationally, has drawn attention from collectors like Franz, Duke of Bavaria, who acquired several pieces for museum placement. Notable exhibitions include his first solo museum show at the Rollins Museum of Art and recent group exhibitions at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, Harn Museum of Art, Art & History Museum of Maitland, the Black History Museum of Virginia, Museum of Art-Deland, and Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.
