Access, Wellbeing, and Equity

in the Stuckeman School

The Stuckeman School aspires to be a global leader in design innovation and to inspire positive impacts on the world. The expertise of our Stuckeman School community as a whole – including faculty, staff, and students – allows us to educate, motivate, and empower a distinct community of future designers, thinkers, and leaders through creative and purposeful innovations and collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders. We do this while embracing a worldview of challenges and opportunities which, in turn, motivates the design of solutions that unite beauty, creativity, technology, ethics, and social responsibility.

We strongly believe that cultivating a welcoming, accessible, equitable, and sustainable environment is critical to each community member’s health and wellbeing. It is also crucial to the successes we celebrate as both individuals and as members of our Stuckeman School community.

The Penn State Values – Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Discovery, Excellence, and Community – guide our school's actions and decisions as members of the collective University community.

By fostering a culture of mutual respect and understanding, we not only enrich the educational experience but also prepare our students to thrive in a diverse and interconnected world. We are committed to working together to ensure that every individual feels safe, supported, and welcomed at our school.
